This first one was made by the wonderful lady that owns the quilt shop that I go too. In fact, she had 2 quilts in the show. The other one I am putting just below this one. I believe this is the one that she made for her son, the other one was for her daughter and her daughter didn't like hers as much as the Wizard of Oz one. I like how she did the photos in a "twister" setting.
This one is just awesome.
There were several art quilts. Some of them were amazing. The background on some of those was painted. They looked so much like a painting from a distance. The photo probably does not do them justice, bad photographer with a cheap camera never helps either.
This table runner was really nice. It was done in a 3D style. I have seen some done in magazines like this and I know they do the stump embroidery like this as well but I have never done any of it. It sure was pretty, I am only showing a portion of it here as it was rather long and I couldn't get a complete photo of it. But you get the idea.
I was quite taken with this lion quilt. Up close it was interesting to see how she did it. I hope you will all click on the photo and enlarge it so you can see it. At least I hope that will work.
I will post some more photos later in the week. There are at least 5 other quilts that I would like to share with all of you. Two or three Grandmother's Flower Garden, one with a round medallion in the center and an old quilt.
I am so glad that I went and enjoyed all the quilts I hope all of you enjoy the ones that I have posted here.........
