I have seen several of these coin quilts around in bloggerville so I thought today I would make one. It is small, gee I didn't even measure it. I used fat quarters for the coins, and have plenty of them left over. I will have to get something for the binding and if I don't use white on the back then one of the lighter colors. Anyway it kept me busy today.

I love it! It might be cute to use the left over FQs for a scrappy binding!
I love the colors in the quilt. Looks like it is a pretty easy quilt to make. It rained all day yesterday and I stayed in and quilted too. Karen
I love it! I've seen so many brights on white quilts lately and they are really striking. I think I need to put one on my "to make" list!
It looks very fresh and crisp with the white.
We quilters sure do know how to keep busy.
I have one more lap quilt to make for a nursing home Christmas gift ,I think this may just do it .
Thanks for sharing .
Very nice. I have a friend who made one with strips and a black background. Not as crisp looking as yours (I prefer white) but still quite stunning and a great way to use up fabric.
What a cute quilt - very refreshing looking! :)
Yes, I am taking a break from the leaves tonight and engaged myself in another "hair-pulling" exercise, hahaha --- needleturn applique by hand. I have never done needleturn before, and my current project is my first attempt! I just can't help it, can I? ;)
You did that in a DAY!?! Am I just the slowest quilter on the face of the earth? Very nice. Maybe I should try a coin quilt, but if it takes me two or three days, I'll just feel that much slower...
