Circle In A Square

I have seen so many quilts done this way and I am slow when it comes to connecting things together. All this is is a variation of a drunkards path quilt block. I went to searching the net and I found a template http://compendiumsearch.googlepages.com/drunkard%27spathblock

It is supposed to be for a 6 inch block but it didn't print out that way. So I cut a 6 inch block and made a template of the quarter circle. It worked out just fine but I will try and play with it some more. Next time I will cut a 6 1/2 square and then put it together. My blocks came out at 5 1/2 when they were done, which is a nice size but I should have trimmed them to 5 because they were a bit off on one side.
Allison over at Cluck Cluck Sew just did one and the fabrics are awesome.

The turkey breast is in the oven and I need to start some green beans to cooking so I better end this here. I hope you have all had a very nice Thanksgiving Day.
PSSST: I did another one and cut the square at 6 1/2 and it turned out way better.

That's a really neat block! Are you making them all the same, or using different colors?

Great start! I made a couple blocks like this last year (or was it this year?) and used them in a border. I'm thinking of making some more soon for a baby quilt for my sister's unborn child. Curves scared me for so long, but they actually aren't that bad!
