Merry Christmas Blizzard!

We got a blizzard for Christmas this year. I wanted a white Christmas but this wasn't quite what I had in mind. We are snowed in for the most part. Hubby is out now plowing the driveway so he can go to work tomorrow, if the wind doesn't blow it all back in that is. The Blizzard Warning is supposed to end at 6pm tonight. Winds have been in excess of 40mph.

The photo at the top is just to the south(left) of the garage doors as you leave the house. And here is hubby trying his best to clean away the snow drift. In a town close to us a huge electric truck got stuck while on his way to restore power for a few thousand people. Tow trucks even got stuck. The winds should let up sometime after tomorrow and the snow will stop. The temperature is about 12 with a wind chill of -6 or so.
Thanks to every one that has come to my blog and left comments. I love reading all of them and enjoy visiting your blogs as well. There are so many talented people out there and the blog is such a nice way to get to know everyone. I wish you all a Blessed Christmas and look forward to reading all your blogs in the New Year.

Wow - that is quite the snow! Don't you just love it though? Makes the holidays seem all that much more like the holidays. Though, come January, I'm about done with it! Take care!
