Part 4 - Quilt #2 - Use IT Up!

Uneven Coin Quilt
Finally! Took forever I think but quilt top # 2 is done. And here is a better photo of quilt top # 1. These two quilts are the same size, which is nice because they will fit a twin bed. Not sure if you can tell but the green I used in this new one is a check. I had quite a bit of it and enough left to use for binding. Not sure what I will do for the backing but it will be something that I already have, same with the other one as well.

I am  going to start quilt # 3 tomorrow while I think about the border on the quilt that I did for my grand daughter. I finally got the fabric for the border, a jelly roll instead of a charm pack but it will still work and I can use the rest of the fabric for whatever else. I have to do a little figuring on it and math is not my strong suit.

Coin Quilt
I am wondering just how many quilts I can make out of the fabric I have cut up. It will be interesting to see. I want to make a couple for my daughter and family for the camper as well as at least one for me. So we shall see. Next one is a string quilt, maybe the next two for sure.Oh and I have to do my blocks for the Bees Knees too.

Everyone stay cool, we are supposed to reach an actual temperature of 100 this week, the heat index has already been over 100 several times. Too hot for me how about you?

Hello!! I read your blog everytime something new is posted. I seldom comment. I roll down my blog reader and would have to click further to comment. Lazy? Apparently yes. But I want you to know that I enjoy your blog. You have inspired me by using up so many of your scraps. I am always on the lookout for easy quilts to use up excess fabrics.
