First Try

I have always loved the Dresden Plate block and seeing a lot of them around blogland lately I thought I would try one. They are easier than I thought and fun to make. I must make more.

I made a mini dresden for a grandbaby's quilt last year and it is really a pretty block and so sophisticated! I thought I'd like to make larger dresdens in fall colors to use as chargers for THanksgiving and the same for Christmas... maybe I should start that....11 adults 10 grands so far...that's alot of dresdens!
Yours is so classic in 30's repros.

Beautiful! I am very impressed...they look very intimidating to me. I love your fabrics--so cheery.
