A Little Day Trip

The other day my husband thought it would be nice to take a little trip to Cabela's, about an hour and a half away. I don't know if any of you have ever been but it is a neat store. They have a huge fish tank, a deer museum and an airplane for starters. The store is just huge. We can go and spend about 4 to five hours in there looking at camping equipment and of course all the other guy stuff. It is like a cheap mini vacation for us. We don't usually spend much when we go but there is always something, like we got there cute cage things for the grill to put or Kabobs in so the little tomatoes don't fall off the skewer.

Of course they have a Moose in there, I had to show you this, I still can't believe how huge they are. I love this airplane, it is upstairs in the dining area. They have a nice menu and some wonderful BLT's. Of course I love the chocolate pie.

Finally when my husband was done looking around there he asked me where else I wanted to go and I told him Pleasantville. Actually the name of the town is Parkville but I think it is such a pleasant place that I just call it Pleasantville. A nice quaint little town that doesn't look like it belongs here but up in the North East.

They have a nice little front street there with a quilt shop at the end of it. We went into a nice Antique Mall and shopped around. I did get an old kerosene lamp that has been electrified for a really cheap price. I have one that I have had since we got married and always wanted another one but they were too pricey.

We had a good day and both needed a bit of a change. I will leave you with one last photo of a cloud. I thought it was pretty and I am surprised the photo came out that well with my little cheapo camera. We see so many neat clouds here but I never think the photo will turn out. So I just don't bother. I would love a nice camera.
