Ok Amy here ya go.....you have been bugging me about this LOL.. It is finally done. I had a few issues with it while quilting it. I used some different spray glue and didn't like the way it gummed up my needle. Then I said I wouldn't use it again but I did on a doll quilt to go with this one.My thread kept breaking so it is taken
apart and I am soaking the glue off of it so I can put it all back
together and try it again.
This quilt is for a very special baby. I want to get the doll quilt done in the next couple of days so I can get them mailed out.And as always you can click on photo to make it bigger. I wanted to show the back of it too.

Thanks for showing it, I can not wait to see it in person.. should be soon, Amy surprised me and came up today!! so we will be down soon.armed with tomatoes and quilts!!
I LOVE this pink quilt! I may have to find some of that fabric for myself! Beautiful job!
I just love the pink quilt! Isn't it frustrating when things don't go smoothly? Hope it's all quilted now.
It turned out great! At one of our guild meetings we had a speaker that said the only way to go with the spray baste is 505. She's used others that were gummy, like you said, some hardened, and one turned the lighter fabrics in her quilt yellow. She had beautiful quilt that was mostly white and ruined that she brought to show us.
Very pretty quilt. You did a great job. Karen
I love your pink and brown quilt. Such pretty pattern too. I am glad to hear about the spray glue issue, I have heard of the spray but not used any. After many years of working I have started making quilts again. Last October I began my frenzy of Wizard of Oz quilts, but had them machine quilted. I have recently made a puzzle quilt using all batiks. I did not want any crossing threads on my blocks so I machine quilted it myself in the ditch. I used safety pins to connect my layers but 2 of my sections were too big and caused a lot of tugging through the opening in machine. I really learned a good lesson!!!
What a pretty quilt - the colors remind me of a raspberry fudge sundae! ;)
Thank you for visiting me and leaving the kind comment. I am glad to make your acquaintance. I will definitely be visiting you again. :)
So pretty. I love the fabrics in this quilt.
What yummy colors! I love pink and brown together, but I wouldn't have thought of the green border - great choice!
