Dear Santa,

Dear Santa,
I have heard that you are reading our letters and taking careful note of what is on our lists. I recently found the Fat Quarter Shop and it is becoming a fast favorite of mine for fabric. I know I already have lots of fabric but some of the new fabrics out are just too nice to pass up.

It seems that every year I end up with a lump of coal. You know they say that the ones that are bad through the year receive a lump of coal, well I have quite a large stack of coal. This year I have tried very hard to be good this year and I think I did a good job at it. After all I am tired of getting coal in my stocking. I haven't splurged as much as I wanted to and tried to be careful when I did purchase fabric. It isn't like I buy the fabric all for myself you know that. The quilts I made this year were for other people.

I did find a couple, well more than a couple of items at the Fat Quarter Shop that I would love to have under the tree this year. It isn't a lot really. I couldn't decide which one I would like the most.

For my granddaughter: Either one of these will do. They would make a beautiful quilt for her bed.

There are so many other bundles there that I would love to have for myself but I am trying not to be greedy. I think that would about do for me Santa. Thanks for reading my letter and I do hope that Mrs. Clause is well. Tell Rudolph I said hello.

I hope Santa is reading our blogs and brings you what you want. But if not, I have a theory that you just can't have too much coal. If Santa gives coal to those that buy too much fabric, he's going to need to bring a dump truck to my house this year. Love your picks. Hope you get them. Lane

The Fat Quarter Shop is one of my favorites. They have so many things and are always up to date with the latest. I may be shopping US more after July 1. Our Province has decided to bring in something called a Harmonized Sales Tax. 12% on absolutely eveything you buy including cut fabric and books (which were previously tax free). I want to shop Canadian just like American's want to shop American but that one really burns my biscuits. Hope Santa's good to you.

Well, now, if that doesn't produce results! Santa would have to be a Scrooge to not deliver. But if it is coal, at least you can stay warm. I am freezing this winter, and it isn't even really technically winter yet!
