Part 2 of Use IT Up!
Yes, I am still here. Sorry I have not been on to read blogs seems there isn't much time in my schedule lately for the finer things in life. I do miss reading all the blogs and miss all of you coming to my blog too. I hope I can get this schedule fine tuned a bit better in the near future.
I have made some progress. I know the photo doesn't look like much progress but believe me a little is better than none. I wanted to make A coin quilt but ended up cutting enough fabric for two so I am working on two. One sort of girlie and the other more for a boy. I am putting the sashing on the boys right now so I can see where I am with it. None of the strips are the same length because my pieces were different widths. Not all the strips I used were 2.5 inches so it made the coin strips different lengths but I will fix that later after I get the sashing strips on the one side of them. I haven't even made a dent in the scraps. I hope to have another progress report within the week, maybe even a top to show, I hope.

Hi Marlene,
Thanks for visiting me and leaving the kind comment on the smocked bishop. I have another dress cut, and ready to pleat and then smock.
I am glad you are working on using up your fabrics. Your quilts will turn out lovely.
I can't wait to see your quilt when it's all done... I know what you mean about not enough time to blog...
