Bees Knees-May Block

Bees Knees Block for May
I just finished this block for May. Jessica wanted a little different style of block and has designed a quilt. Each block is is made up of 2.5 inch squares, 11 across and 7 down. She wanted a Pac man effect for the block design. We were each given the fabric and told how she wanted it then we designed our own "maze". This is what I came up with. I am hoping she will like it. I did use some of my own fabric in it but only 4 pieces.

I have just learned that my youngest grand daughter is now in a big girl bed so I need to figure out what I am going to do with those blocks I started for her. I ended up not liking them when they were done. Not sure if I ever posted them or not but I will have to see about that next. And once again I am way behind in my blog reading.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a good weekend everyone and enjoy Memorial Day! Thanks to all our troops!

Love this quilt!! There's so much you could do with it...
My favorite time for my two older kids has been making their "big-boy and big-girl bed quilts"...cause I have been able to reflect their personalities through their quilts. I can't wait to see what you come up with for your grand-daughter!

I'm fascinated by mazes, and love the idea of making a quilt with mazes. Looks like it is going to be a cute quilt.
